On Saturday, the Prescott baseball team bashed the ball over and over again to get two blowout wins over Mohave. The bashing continued Monday as the Badgers began their run through the Greenway Festival by taking on Ironwood. Prescott put up 12 runs in the first two innings and tacked on several more en route to a 17–0 demolition of the Eagles.
Travis Gates and Stelino Gousis combined for a no-hitter. Kaden Lampe drove in two runs and scored three runs. Nick Martin, Brody Hanna, William Horn, and Tyler Blanchard each had two RBIs. The win puts the Badgers’ record at 7–3.
In their last three games, Prescott has scored 54 runs while allowing just two runs and two hits. The Badgers have also scored double digits in runs in five straight games.
Prescott is back at the Greenway Festival today versus Paradise Valley.
