This Saturday, the Prescott Valley Police Department will hold a free bike rodeo and car seat check in collaboration with Park Collective. The event takes place at Park Collective in Prescott Valley from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Police officials say bikes will be provided for the rodeo, and helmets and educational materials will be given out. They add the event aims to increase traffic awareness among young people to reduce bike-related injuries and incidents in town.
Police officials say replacement car seats may also be given out as part of the car seat check, but caregivers must bring either the car seat that needs to be replaced or the child who will be using the car seat.
