With temperatures warming, officials with the Town of Prescott Valley are reminding everyone not to leave their children or pets in their vehicles. When it’s 90 degrees outside, the interior temperature of a vehicle can be 30 degrees hotter.
Town officials say if you see a child or pet unattended in a car, call 9-1-1 immediately.
