Hockey could be returning to Prescott Valley. Mayor Kell Palguta is leading an effort to get a junior team to make the Findlay Toyota Center their home.

The Arizona Sundogs played in Prescott Valley from 2006 to 2014 as part of the Central Hockey League, and won the league championship in their second season of existence. Since then, the arena has hosted adult hockey leagues and the occasional college hockey games.
