Construction continues this week along Glassford Hill Road in Prescott Valley. Crews are working on widening the road between Bear Path and Santa Fe Loop Road.
Town officials say work will include roadway excavation, drainage culvert and wall construction, and installation of a new effluent water main. Work takes place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Drivers should expect delays, construction equipment in the roadway, and traffic control measures throughout the corridor. One lane of traffic in each direction will remain open at all times, and access to businesses, schools, and neighborhoods will be maintained.
Officials also warn that sidewalk and pedestrian access may be periodically restricted. Motorists are urged to follow posted signs, drive with caution, and consider using alternate routes when possible.
