Many people got pulled over in Chino Valley the weekend prior to St. Patrick’s Day. Police agencies across the Tri-City area teamed up on March 14th for a coordinated DUI enforcement operation.
Officers were on patrol from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. During that time, 62 traffic stops were made, resulting in 61 civil citations and 8 criminal citations. Four people were arrested for DUI, including two for super extreme DUI cases, one for aggravated DUI, and one for drug-related DUI.
Chino Valley police officials urge people to plan ahead, use a sober driver, and make good choices to help keep roads safe.
