In their previous three matches, the Prescott boys volleyball team got 3–0 sweeps over their opponents. Thursday night, the Badgers hoped to continue taking the brooms to the guys on the other side of the net. Set one with Dysart proved to be a close battle, but Prescott took it 25–19. The Demons continued to put up a fight, but the Badgers were victorious in the second set 25–15, then closed out the match with a 25–16 win for their fourth sweep in a row.
Seth Peterson tallied 18 kills. Eli Buettner registered 12 kills, two blocks, and two aces. Garrett Tebbetts posted eight kills and one ace serve.
The win puts Prescott’s record at 10–4 on the season and 4–0 in Black Canyon Region play. The Badgers are back at it tonight when they travel to Marcos de Niza. Prescott is on the road again next Tuesday to play Tempe.
