Both squads for the Embry-Riddle golf team got to raise the first-place trophy in Page Tuesday. The Eagles and Lady Eagles were in Page for the Bandy Invitational at the Lake Powell National Golf Club. The men’s team took the contest by ten shots.
Coming in as the runner-up of the invite was Prescott grad Jonathan Tso, who shot two under par. In fourth place was Tyler Tamayori, with Bradshaw Mountain product Jeremy Reynolds in fifth place. Robert Brackett came in eleventh place.
For the Riddle women, Charlotte Griffin was the medalist with a two-day score of 150. Bella Mantini and Olivia Zamarripa tied for second place with a score of 151. Emma Marshall came in seventh place and Lila Becker finished in eleventh place.
This is the third invitational the Embry-Riddle women have won during their spring schedule.
