Date Change for Prescott Rodeo Community Meeting

A community meeting on the future of Prescott’s rodeo grounds has been pushed back more than a month.

The City of Prescott says Community Meeting Number Two for the rodeo-fairgrounds master plan — originally set for April 20th — has been rescheduled to June 1st.

City officials say the delay is needed to allow more time for continued development and review of draft site plans with the project steering committee and stakeholder groups.

A City Council presentation that had been planned for April 28th has also been pulled from the calendar. The city says that session will be rescheduled for a future date, with updated details to be announced.
