Let’s see how some former local athletes are doing elsewhere. Ex-Yavapai College pitcher Ty Thompson is now with Central Arizona. He is 5-1 with a 6.44 ERA, 46 strikeouts, and 32 walks in 43 innings.
Another former Roughrider, Traig Oughton, is 3-0 for Cal State Northridge with a 6.28 ERA, 30 strikeouts, and 16 walks in 38 innings.
Another YC product, Nate Nichols, is with Oral Roberts University. He’s hitting .154 with two RBIs.
Payton Pudenz is on the CSU Bakersfield baseball team. He is 0-0 with a 4.82 ERA, eleven strikeouts, and four walks in nine innings.
Ex-Yavapai softball player Tori Au is with Cal State Dominguez Hills, where she is batting .364 with four home runs, 34 RBIs, 14 doubles, two triples, and 28 runs scored.
