Work to replace the water mains along Highway 89 in Prescott won’t begin for a while.
City Councilman Ted Gambogi tells The News:
Gambogi says when work does begin, that stretch of the highway could be closed for four to five months. He adds that will have a big impact on local traffic:
Gambogi says the replacement of the water pipes will cost around 25 million dollars. He points out that replacing the pipes and widening the road would cost 36 million dollars.
