Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials say a Tonopah man has been arrested following an investigation into alleged sexual communications with a minor.
Detectives took 44-year-old Andy Racer into custody on April 9th after determining he had been sending explicit text messages and images to a young girl over the course of several weeks. Sheriff’s office officials say the investigation also revealed additional allegations involving child exploitation. Detectives report he was found in possession of illegal sexual images involving children.
Racer is also a registered sex offender, according to the sheriff’s office. He was booked into the Yavapai County Jail on charges of aggravated luring of a minor, attempted sexual conduct with a minor, and ten counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
