Clean up work and advertising are expected to get more bed tax dollars in the new Prescott city budget.
City Manager Dallin Kimble explains:
The proposed increases are $125,000 for downtown beautification, up from $62,500 from last year’s budget, and $200,000 for marketing, up $150,000 from last year’s budget. In addition, the city is expected to contribute more money to the Whiskey Off-Road, $120,000 in the new budget compared to $115,000 from last year’s budget.
