Trenching operations continue this week on Cherry Drive in Prescott in preparation for the installation of a new water line and drainage. Because of this, Cherry Drive is closed to all traffic at Middlebrook Road. Motorists can still use Linden Road to access Cherry Drive.
Work hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Drivers may encounter rough road conditions, lane restrictions, and flaggers directing traffic. City officials are also asking residents to avoid on-street parking during construction to help crews work safely and keep the project on schedule.
The project is expected to be completed this fall.
