Multiple bobcat attacks were reported in North Prescott over the weekend, leaving three people injured.
The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office says the first incident occurred Sunday evening around 6 p.m. near Inscription Canyon, where a man suffered significant injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Deputies responded to two more attacks early Monday morning near Williamson Valley Road, including one where a German shepherd fought and killed the bobcat. The dog was injured and taken to a veterinarian.
A fourth incident involving a dog has also been reported, but the details remain limited.
The Arizona Game and Fish Department confirmed the bobcat tested positive for rabies.
