Prescott Valley drivers should expect ongoing delays along Glassford Hill Road as work continues on a major widening project in Prescott Valley.
Construction crews are working on a concrete median, curb and gutter installation, sidewalks, drainage systems, and retaining walls between Bear Path and Santa Fe Loop Road.
The final round of asphalt paving from just north of Long Look Drive to just south of Spouse Drive is also taking place. Drivers should expect a new traffic pattern through the area and are urged to follow posted signs and use extra caution around construction equipment and trucks entering and exiting the work zone.
One lane of traffic in each direction will remain open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday. Town officials say businesses, schools, and homes will remain accessible during construction.
