The Prescott Valley Town Council got briefed on the proposed 2026-2027 budget at its recent study session. There is a five-percent projected increase in the general fund due to recurring costs such as health insurance, utilities, and new positions.
As for other expenditures, more than four million dollars will go toward improvements to water and wastewater systems, another four million dollars will go toward street maintenance, and one million dollars is going toward improvements to town parks.
