City League softball is in full swing over at Prescott’s Pioneer Park. Taking a look at the scoreboard from last Thursday’s slate of games, in the Co-ed “B” division, Hitting Holes knocked off Warning Track 18-13, the Aardvarks stymied Boomworks 13-10, Sunburst Motorsports thumped Hotties and Hosers 18-5, Tea Time upended AZ Warriors 17-7, and the Hooligans got by AZ Warriors 18-16.
In the Co-ed “C” division, Yavapai A’s edged out We Got the Runs 13-12, Sit on My Face vanquished Hit Happens 20-8, Jersey Lilly leveled Fann Contracting 22-2, and the Wolfpack sank Slidin’ Dirty 10-9.
Along with the usual City League softball games this week, Pioneer Park and Heritage Park will be the sites for a big weekend softball tournament. The AWS Men’s Senior Slow Pitch Tournament takes place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
