There are several new additions to the Embry-Riddle women’s soccer team’s roster for 2026. Two of them are Arizona natives. Elle Grotte is a product of Sunrise Mountain High School in Peoria, and Scarlett Petz hails from Scottsdale, where she was a defender for Saguaro High School. This past season, Petz recorded five goals and four assists. She was also named the Desert Sky Region Defensive Player of the Year and made the All 4A Conference Second Team for a Sabercat squad that made it to the Final Four of state.
Out of state recruits for the Lady Eagles include Sophia Sink from Claremont, California, where she was a four-year varsity player and all-league defender. Harmony Rodriguez is an Albuquerque native who helped power the offense at Sandia High School.
Riddle is also getting a transfer in Josie Young, who was the NJCAA Division III Player of the Year at Sierra College.
