The City of Prescott has updated its fire code. At Tuesday’s voting session, the City Council unanimously adopted the 2024 International Wildland-Urban Interface Code.
Some of the highlights include a risk assessment for fire-resistant materials on homes and buildings, redesignating the wildland-urban interface to cover the entire city, and updating vegetation management requirements.
