PHS, BMHS Baseball Players Make All-Region Team

Many Prescott and Bradshaw Mountain baseball players garnered All-Grand Canyon Region honors for the 2026 campaign. Making the first team for the Badgers were Travis Gates, Matt Hepperle, and William Horn, while the Bears had Sammy Villafana and Ty Young.

Second-team honors went to Nick Martin and Brody Hanna of Prescott, and Dylan Lockwood, Drew Strader, and Hayden Combs of Bradshaw Mountain.

Rounding out the all-region selections, the Badgers’ Ashton Whitwell, Kaden Lampe, and freshman Jason Placencia got honorable mentions, as did the Bears’ Nitesh Patel, Brecken Herb, and Braydin Golden.

Thanks to their efforts, Prescott was among the final 16 teams to compete in the 4A Conference State Tournament, while Bradshaw Mountain qualified for the state play-in round.
