Two of Bradshaw Mountain’s top athletes have decided to begin their collegiate sports careers in the junior college ranks. Kylin Jackson announced he will play football at Allan Hancock College in Santa Monica, California. Last season for the Bears, Jackson rushed for 1,682 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also returned three punts for scores. Jackson was also named the Grand Canyon Region Player of the Year and the Archie Amerson Running Back of the Year, and was selected to the All-4A Conference First Team. Last season, Allan Hancock went 4-6.
In addition, basketball’s Cam Ranniker will remain in Arizona and play for Mesa College. This past season, Ranniker averaged 18.2 points per game for Bradshaw Mountain. He also nailed 50 three-pointers, and registered 50 rebounds, 27 assists, 20 steals, and ten blocks. All those stats earned Ranniker a spot on the All-Grand Canyon Region First Team.
