This year’s Prescott High School athletic awards featured ties in a couple of categories, including the “Can-Do” athletes. Badminton’s Ari Jones and flag football’s Ady Larson were the female winners.

Will Townsend was the male “Can-Do” athlete. Coach of the Year was a tie between Jami Johnson of girls basketball and Tyler Bruso of wrestling. The Badger Service Award went to Rick Hinwood, who spent 50 years on the chain gang for football. Eli Buettner of swim and volleyball was Prescott’s Male Athlete of the Year, and Maggie Maneely of flag football and soccer was Prescott’s Female Athlete of the Year.
