Here’s what happened in Thursday’s slate of Prescott City League softball games. In the Co-Ed “B” Division, Boomworks leveled Sunburst Motorsports 14-2, Hitting Holes derailed Hotties and Hosers 20-5, the Aardvarks subdued Warning Track 25-19, AZ Warriors topped Tea Time 7-5, and the Hooligans doubled up AZ Warriors 14-7.
In the Co-Ed “C” Division, the Wolfpack took care of Pitch Please 16-6, Slidin’ Dirty conquered Fann Contracting 17-11, Jersey Lilly Saloon knocked off Slidin’ Dirty 11-7, Safe at First sank Hit Happens 27-6, and Sit on My Base KO’d We Got the Runs 25-9.
Another big weekend of softball is on tap for Prescott. The Native Nations Youth Fast-Pitch Tournament takes place Friday through Sunday at various parks throughout the city.
