NAZ Wranglers Subdued by AZ Rattlers

They traded points for much of the first half of Saturday’s contest in Glendale. But in the second half, Arizona stymied Northern Arizona’s offense. The Rattlers pulled away and handed the Wranglers a 56-32 loss.

Anthony Garrett had two touchdown throws and a touchdown run for NAZ, while DeMarcus Bryant had a touchdown pass. Marlon Cook Jr. caught two TD passes, and Nolan Susel had a touchdown catch. Kieran Page recorded nine tackles and an interception. Kalen Hicks registered five tackles and a sack. Brendon Luper made eight tackles. Dayvia Gbor posted seven tackles, and Zachary Vicenti made six tackles.

Northern Arizona is now 1-8 on the season. They return to the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley June 7th to take on the Vegas Knight Hawks. The Wranglers have another home game June 14th versus the San Diego Strike Force.
