The Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority would like to have its response time to emergency calls be under ten minutes. But with the large amount of territory in its jurisdiction, that can be difficult.
During Thursday’s Prescott Valley Town Council meeting, CAFMA Chief John Feddema pointed out:
CAFMA has also been busier over the past few years. In 2018, the agency responded to more than 13,900 calls. In 2025, CAFMA responded to 17,600 calls, an increase of 26 percent.
