Crews are putting in a new storm drain system along Cherry Drive in Prescott this week. Because of this, Cherry Drive is open to residential traffic only.
In addition, there will be a temporary water turn-off for the area Tuesday as the new water line is being connected along Cherry Drive and Linden Road.
Work hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Drivers may encounter rough road conditions, lane restrictions, and flaggers directing traffic. City officials are also asking residents to avoid on-street parking during construction to help crews work safely and keep the project on schedule.
The project is expected to be completed this fall.
