Prescott Valley Police Department to Host Officer Testing

The Prescott Valley police department is looking to expand its ranks and is inviting qualified candidates to apply for 98 upcoming police officer positions.

The department has announced a recruitment testing event scheduled for Saturday, June 27th, at 8 a.m. at police headquarters on East Skoog Boulevard. Officials say attendance is by invitation only, and applicants must complete the required hiring steps before they can participate.

Prescott Valley police officers have opportunities to work in a variety of specialized assignments, including bike patrol, traffic enforcement, school resource officer programs, swat, K-9 operations, and drug enforcement.

The department also offers benefits including medical and dental coverage, tuition reimbursement, take-home vehicles, and what officials describe as a strong work-life balance.

To be considered, applicants must complete an online Arizona p-o-s-t personal history statement and submit an application through the town of Prescott Valley’s employment website.

Those with questions about the process can contact the police department’s backgrounds unit for assistance.
