Several Prescott track and field athletes emerged from Saturday’s Sentinel Invitational at Chandler’s Seton Catholic High School with top ten finishes. One athlete wound up with a first place finish. That would be Kenzie Blanchard, who won the girls high jump. She was also third in the 100 hurdles.
The relay teams also had put in excellent performances. Caleb Fox, Kaden Daniels, Isaac Briseno, and KJ Greenfield finished seventh in the boys 4X100 and eighth in the 4X400. On the girls side, Aubrey Kitahata, Wylie Monnett, Blanchard, and Violet Williams placed second in the 4X100 and third in the 4X400.
Other top ten finishes by Prescott; Williams was second in the girls 100 meter dash. Rylee Hobson was second in the girls javelin. Luke Mason finished third in the boys javelin. Anna Brown was third in the girls pole vault. Bella Abt placed seventh in the girls 100 hurdles and tenth in the 300 hurdles, and Libby Hlavacek was seventh in the girls pole vault.
