The awards keep pouring in for the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University softball team. Five of their players were named to the College Sports Communicators All-District Academic Team. They are Diana Miranda-Montano, Kate Delaney, Maddie Judge, Emma Almadoba, and Vanessa Brink. The five were chosen for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
All five players were also named NAIA scholar-athletes, with Brink, Delaney, and Montano making the All-Cal Pac Conference Academic Team. On the field, Almadoba was voted the Cal Pac Conference Player of the Year and was the conference batting champion. Delaney was named the Cal Pac Defensive Player of the Year, Judge and Montano were both named to the all-conference defensive team, and Brink was an all-conference first team selection who went 19-5 with 215 strikeouts.
