The city of Prescott is seeking a grant of more than $2 million for new traffic calming devices. They will be installed at twenty intersections throughout Prescott. The goal is to reduce speeds and make pedestrian crossings more visible in an effort to cut down on traffic accidents.
City officials plan to submit the application in August. If the grant is awarded, installation of the traffic calming devices could begin in fiscal year 2028.
