Road Improvements Come before Prescott City Council

Utility and non-utility development impact fees will be discussed at Tuesday’s Prescott City Council study session. It gets underway at 1 p.m.

Then at 3 p.m., council convenes for its voting meeting. The main focus is roads, as the council votes on two contracts totaling more than $3 million for the Pavement Preservation Project. Also on the agenda is the acceptance of a $250,000 federal grant for the Safe Streets and Roads Program, along with a speed limit increase for Hassayampa Village Lane and Williamson Valley Road. A $209,000 intergovernmental agreement with ADOT for the new multi-use pathway on Highway 89 also gets voted on.

Both meetings take place in City Council chambers at 201 North Montezuma Street.
