Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority personnel and volunteers cleaned a one-mile stretch of Highway 169 Thursday. The effort was part of ADOT’s Adopt a Highway program and was sponsored by Station 54.
Since 2016, volunteers have maintained this section of Highway 169, originally adopted in 2012 by Dean Steward. The team collected 51 bags of trash Thursday, totaling several hundred pounds.
