Not only is Saturday the regular season home finale for Northern Arizona, this could be the game to determine whether or not they make the Indoor Football League playoffs. The Wranglers face the Vegas Knight Hawks. Both teams are tied for third place in the Western Conference with records of 9-5. Ahead of them are the San Diego Strike Force and the Arizona Rattlers, who are tied for second place at 10-5. The Bay Area Panthers are in first place at 11-3. The top four teams qualify for the post-season.
In their previous meeting back on June 1st, the Wranglers defeated the Knight Hawks 58-52. NAZ is also going into the game with the IFL’s Special Teams Player of the Week in kicker Axel Perez.
Kick-off for Saturday’s game from the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley is 6:05 p.m. A half-hour before the game, the Wranglers will hold a tribute to Coach David Moran, who passed away last week.
