Local scoreboard from the Labor Day weekend: In soccer, for the ladies, Yavapai College shut out Northeastern 2-0, then got shut out by Western Wyoming 1-0. Ade Bonner scored both goals in the Northeastern game. Embry-Riddle got blanked by the College of Idaho 1-nil.
In volleyball, Yavapai College got swept by Eastern Arizona 3-0. Embry-Riddle dropped their matches at the Ottawa tournament, 3-0 to Carroll and 3-1 to Montana Western. Dalia Haase tallied 15 kills versus Montana Western. Mayer got swept by Maryvale Prep 3-0.
