It was a pretty competitive match at Antelope Hills on Tuesday. The Prescott, Bradshaw Mountain, and Coconino boys golf teams went at it, with the Badgers maintaining a respectable distance from their opponents. The Bears and the Panthers did close the gap, but Prescott held on for the victory with a score of 145. Bradshaw finished with a 156, and Coconino had a 162.
Prescott’s Jonathan Tso – the number two golfer in the state for Division Two – was the medalist with a 33. Prescott’s Jackson Carr and Bradshaw’s Jeremy Reynolds tied for second with a 35. The Bears’ Jacob Eisenhour took fourth with a 36. The Badgers’ Jacob Patterson placed sixth with a 38, and Prescott’s Eli Tharp and Bradshaw’s Nolan Brunner tied for eighth with a 39.
Prescott and Bradshaw Mountain have another go-round next Tuesday at the Prescott Country Club, with Flagstaff joining in.
