A single-vehicle crash in Rimrock takes the life of a Prescott man. Just before 8 p.m. on Friday evening, Yavapai County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to a reported single-vehicle rollover accident on East Montezuma Well Road in Rimrock. Witnesses stated they heard the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. They reported finding a vehicle upside down with a single adult male occupant partially ejected and pinned underneath.
Witnesses also stated the vehicle rolled three times before coming to rest just off the roadway. It appeared the driver, 42-year-old Fabion Renfro of Prescott, was not wearing a seatbelt during the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It appears the vehicle was traveling too fast for the road conditions, which is an unpaved Forest Service road.
