Firewise Garden Talk at Prescott Public Library

As the fire risk rises, it is important to know how to protect your home and landscape. The Prescott Public Library is hosting a firewise garden talk to teach the community how to protect their homes as they garden this spring.

They will discuss which plants reduce fire risks, where to plant vegetation, appropriate ground covers, and how to avoid overgrown plants.

The talk takes place Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Library’s Founder;s Suite at 215 W. Goodwin St.
