BMHS Girls Soccer Clips Lee Williams

In their previous five matches, the Bradshaw Mountain girls soccer team suffered four losses and came away with one tie. The Lady Bears were hoping their fortunes would change when they took their home pitch Tuesday night to face Lee Williams in their first Grand Canyon Region match-up.

The Lady Bears played with grit and determination throughout the first half, shutting out the Lady Volunteers while Destiny Couch put Bradshaw on the board with a goal. The Red and Black Pack had another tally in the first half, this one off an own goal following a Taylor Hogan free kick.

Lee Williams played much more aggressively in the second half and closed the gap, but the Lady Bears held on for the 2-1 victory. Bradshaw Mountain is 4-5-1 overall on the season. They are home again Thursday versus Mingus.
