They made a weekend jaunt to Montana to face two of the best teams in the NAIA. Friday, the number six ranked Embry-Riddle wrestling team was in Great Falls to battle number eight University of Providence. While on paper this looked like it should be a close battle, the Eagles were in control most of the night to get the 31-16 triumph.
Jonah Chew and Chino Valley grad Keller Rock won their matches by technical fall at 149 pounds and 165 pounds respectively.
Saturday, Riddle faced another top 25 opponent, this one number 14 ranked Montana State-Northern. Again, it was all Eagles as they got the 35-9 win.
Adam Stanley, Rock, and Kenneth Copley all won their matches by pin.
Embry-Riddle is back in action this coming Saturday when they travel to Glendale for the Arizona Christian Open.
