The Prescott City Council is just one week away from beginning the process of filling former Councilmember Cathey Rusing’s seat.
Mayor Phil Goode says the city received 5 applications to fill the vacant seat:
Goode said that the city is fortunate to have such dedicated citizens. Rusing resigned from the city council to run for mayor.
