The Agua Fria River crossing (at Prescott Street) in Dewey-Humboldt, is now open to traffic. The closure was the result of damage sustained during a powerful storm that caused flooding in early May.
Thanks to the swift action of the Town Council, staff, engineers, and contractors, repairs were made a top priority and completed quickly.
Mayor Matthew Fenn tells The News:
With monsoon season upon us, town officials say to stay alert for changing conditions. Do not attempt to drive through flooded roads – your safety isn’t worth the risk.
