After Friday’s wildfire off Highway 69 in Prescott, officials with the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority are reminding the public that the Tri-City area is under Stage One fire restrictions. With the Fourth of July this week, the sale or use of consumer fireworks is prohibited. CAFMA officials recommend you attend professional fireworks shows hosted by local municipalities instead of lighting them yourself.
Since January, CAFMA has responded to more than 20 wildfires in the Tri-City area.
