Even though it’s hot outside, the time is now to start thinking about collecting firewood. Firewood permits for the Prescott National Forest are now available through a new online e-permit system. You can purchase permits any time using a computer or mobile device.
Forest Service officials say the new system offers greater flexibility and convenience. While the online option is now active, traditional permits can still be obtained from Forest Service offices and participating vendors.
