Prescott Area Congressman Crane Declares U.S. “Not Ready” for Drone Attacks

After the Ukrainian drone attack that knocked out 30 percent of Russia’s strategic bomber force, and the Israeli drone strikes on Iranian targets, many are concerned that similar attacks could happen here in the United States.

One such person is Prescott-area Congressman Eli Crane, who said this at a recent congressional hearing on the matter:

Prescott Broadcasting, LLC · CRANE DRONE THREAT 7-28-25

Crane pointed out Louisiana is the first state to pass a law allowing local law enforcement to neutralize drones if they are operating without authorization near schools, public events, or critical infrastructure. He adds other states should adopt similar laws.
