A brand of ice cream and ice fruit bars are being recalled. Yavapai County Community Health Services announced Tropicale Foods is recalling certain Helados Mexico and La Michoacana bars because they contain undeclared milk. People who have an allergy to milk are at risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products.
Recalled ice cream and ice fruit bars include coconut, strawberry, cookies and crème, bubble gum, and mango, along with several variety packs. One person reportedly fell ill due to eating these bars.
If you have any Helados Mexico or La Michoacana bars, either throw them out or return them to the store where you purchased them from.
