The Prescott Police Department is holding a six-week immersive Citizen’s Academy for the public to become familiar with the workings of the department. Starting August 19th from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., participants will gain insights into various specialty and auxiliary roles, with presentations by SWAT, PANT, traffic safety, investigations, animal control, community services, training & recruitment, K-9 units, and more.
If you would like to take part in this, you must complete an application and pass a background check. Applications are available at the Prescott Police Department Records Department or online at cognitoforms.com/prescottpolicedepartment/ppdcitizensacademyapplication.
Spaces are limited. Only six more seats remain for the Citizen’s Academy.
