PVPD Hold Car Safety Seat Check

The Prescott Valley Police Department will conduct a car seat check this Saturday at Park Collective at 7450 E Pav Way, from 8 to 11 a.m.

This event is a way for parents and guardians to make sure their car seats are installed properly for any children that may be traveling with them in their car. Police will look for damage to the seat you may be unaware of, and they will also check to see if there is an expiration date.

It is set up as a drive-through inspection, and the car seat or booster seat will be inspected by two trained technicians to ensure it is properly installed. If needed, staff can also replace any seats that may be damaged or expired.

The whole process takes approximately 20–30 minutes.
