The Prescott City Council has extended the public comment period for the State Route 89 Improvement Project.
Following last Tuesday’s city council meeting, city staff was directed to add an extra 30 days to the original 60-day comment period. The public now has until October 9 to submit feedback on the project. As a result, the second public hearing has been rescheduled for October 14, during the city council’s voting meeting.
The final vote on the contract for 100 percent design services will take place two weeks later, on October 28. Residents can find project details and comment online at sr89improvements.com.
