ERAU Volleyball Suffers 2 Losses in California

The Embry-Riddle volleyball team had a challenging start to its weekend in California. On the docket Saturday was The Master’s University, ranked number eleven in the latest NAIA national poll. Every single set was a battle, with only a handful of points separating the two sides. But it was the Lady Mustangs who came out on top each time to sweep the Lady Eagles 3-0.

Alice Tuci recorded 29 assists, “The A-Bomb” Anela Chew notched ten kills, and Alexis Creager made 18 digs.

On Sunday, Riddle was at La Sierra, and again, all the sets were close, but the Lady Golden Eagles came out on top 3-0.

Tuci registered 25 assists, while Hannah Clear, Emma Barber, and Brooke Eglington each tallied eight kills.

Embry-Riddle is now 7-10 on the season and 1-5 in GSAC play. The Lady Eagles are back home this Friday versus Ottawa University.
